Our Shop

Our community do-it-yourself shop is a great place to enjoy bicycle camaraderie no matter your skill level. Organized workstations are available for anyone to use for free; we also sell bicycles and parts donated by generous people like you. Fix a flat, strip a bike, do it yourself or volunteer to guide others - everyone is welcome! All donations further our work to contribute to a healthy and more resilient community by getting more people on bikes.

ANYONE CAN FIX A BIKE

At our shop, you’ll find fully-stocked work stations with bike stands. These stands are available for free for anyone to use. No specialized skills are necessary. Our mechanics and volunteers are on hand to guide you through most any bicycle repair.

Items for Sale ARE DONATED BY YOU

At our bicycle shop, we sell used and new parts, tools, and accessory as well as a selection of used bicycles. We gladly accept donations of parts, tools, bicycles, and accessories of (almost) any type. Donated bicycles are repaired by volunteers and resold in our shop. Some of our bicycles are "ready to ride," while others still need a little work, which we're always glad to help you with. Our inventory is always changing, so stop by frequently!

DONATING BICYCLES, PARTS AND TOOLS

During open hours, we’re glad to take donations of underused bicycles, parts or tools at our shop. We salvage what we can and recycle or re-purpose the rest. We usually are not able to pick up donations, but we do make exceptions. Contact us if you think you have something we’d be interested in but can’t get it to the shop.

Our volunteers go further

Volunteers of any skill level are welcome. In the shop, we need your help to take apart bicycles, put them back together, organize, clean, and greet others. Volunteering provides a unique opportunity to learn all aspects of bicycle repair and maintenance at your own pace and with experienced help on hand. If you’re interested in volunteering, drop in during our open hours, check out our calendar for for upcoming opportunities, or sign up to receive updates on volunteer opportunities, which include:

  • Bike Drive coordination

  • Shop organization

  • Ask-a-Wrench

  • More!

YOUTH VOLUNTEER CORPS

Since 2012, every summer the Corvallis Bicycle Collective partners with Corvallis Parks and Recreation to inspire the next generation of bicycle mechanics to learn the joys of fixing up bicycles. For six weeks in the summer, young volunteers absorb as much bicycle knowledge as we can dispense. In return, they turn out as many fixed bikes, patched flats, and repairs as they can manage. Everyone benefits.
