Donated bikes will be collected at Peak Sports and refurbished at Corvallis Bicycle Collective. Bikes will be distributed to kids, families, and underserved folks through our Empowerment Bucks & Pop-Up Bike Shop programs. Any excess bikes can generate shop proceeds that benefit all Corvallis Bicycle Collective programs.

ASK-A-WRENCH VOLUNTEERS: April-september

Find out how you can be part of the Ask-a-Wrench mobile bike repair crew. Requirements: wrenching skills, volunteer hours logged in the shop, and enthusiasm for representing CBC at public events. Of course, you’ll need a bike to haul the trailer, too!

EMPOWERMENT BUCKS POP-UP BIKE SHOP : APRIL 27 @ LANCASTER BRIDGE

During a fall outreach event at Lancaster, we listened to residents tell us about their needs for working bikes. Kids need bikes for school commutes, exercise and fun and adults need bikes for commuting to work and getting around town. We’re following up with an Empowerment Bucks Pop-Up Bike Shop!

We need volunteers to help us promote the bicycle as a vehicle for change while building healthy and resilient communities.

WE’RE HIRING!

CBC is looking for a Volunteer Coordinator who is passionate about our mission and programs, and has experience using a multitude of methods and tools to recruit, manage, and retain volunteers. This is a part-time, temporary position through September 2019. The Volunteer Coordinator will work with CBC staff, board subcommittees, and volunteer event planning teams to identify and fulfill the organization’s volunteer needs.
